    I remember seeing the Pre-Production Camaro ZL-1 with a bizarre sort of checkerboard pattern...

    The eye is drawn to patterns, thus effectively hiding lines and curves.

    and then some folks buy the vehicle and paint it back to some of those same patterens....what are they hiding..

    Why not sell them, with that paint scheme as an option? Folks pay thousands of dollars for that look!
