Dumb Question
Like to take my 14 everywhere. How does bungee cords work pitting stuff on the passenger seat? Told u it was a dumb one!

I use a bungee web if I have to do that, or web straps to the passenger grips, for sissybar bags....

As long as you can get a solid "Bite" around the grab rails; go for it!
Just be aware, that stuff left on the bike; is prone to disappear...
pack it and go, as Bob said be aware that if it is in view sticky fingers may take it away

I didn't take my trailer to Lamont's BBQ last week, and t bungeed my small suitcase to the back seat. I have a set of bungee loops that I use on the hand grips, and then run a single bungee over the top of the suitcase. It held really well, but I could not have opened the seat to refuel. It's a good thing I have a gas door in my seat.

I carry a few bungee cords in a ziplock bag in the trunk, and often use one to strap something down on the passenger seat. Works fine.

The only caution I have is to be sure to use the soft part of the bungee around the passage grip, it has a soft finish that will get "burned" or scared easily and I have found no way to repair. I use flat bungees, one half has no stretch, the other has a built in elastic and the adjuster. installed carefully there is no slipping or friction put on the handles and keeps the grips looking new.

Bob I thought the misses had you on a short leash
Me I have been using ROC straps for years. Safer for both the bike and the item I am carrying.

Bungee's ..!!
are great and there are all kinds. The thing to beware of is hooking to/too close to the grab bar. Some will damage the grab bar surface. Otherwise they are the best....

I like Rok straps, especially if I'm hauling a dry bag or something that size.

I agree on this one, I thought they were ROK, but could be wrong. I think I got mine from Aerositch (sP). I have had for years, work better then anything else
