    Default Spy Report 09/23/2014

This afternoon I decided to spend some time at Foxwoods Casino. It is just down the road from where I live in Connecticut. Well it turns out that the BRP Sypder Dealers conference also kicked off today at the casino. What a surprise. I see a few folks walking around with BRP id tags. You will not believe this next part, but it is true. I sit down on the bench near California Kitchen to check my email and Facebook. I look down at there is a small card labeled Spyder F3 Demo Ride Registration Card on the ground. On the back is has a date, time, and some guys name. I feel like Charlie from Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory when he finds the golden ticket. Obviously it does not belong to me and I cannot use it, but it still feels great to have it. Now the search is on to find out where the BRP people are. For those not familiar with Foxwoods, it is the largest casino in North America and the facility is huge. The expo center and theater spaces are locked up tight. Having already been in jail once this year I steer clear on any off limit areas. Finally I find where BRP is doing their conference registration and where it looks like they were finishing up lunch. I go up the person who seems to be in charge. Introduce myself and explain I found this card that belongs to one of their attendees. She was thankful and explained a little of what was going on and that the release of their new model would be tonight. I tried to get some BRP bling in exchange for turning in my prized Spyder F3 Demo Ride Registration Card. No such bling was to be found. Not even a sticker. I asked about getting a demo ride also and she said that would not be possible but to find a local dealer. I spoke with a couple of attendees and asked about the new F3. They said BRP had it tightly under wraps and they had not even seen it. The registration packet being given out was very small and I assume it contained just an agenda.

I left and a couple minutes up the rode there was a line of about six Spyders headed to the casino. All RTs and RSs (maybe STs). Some colors I had not seen before and a couple of them had the BRP logo on the frunk hood. They defiantly belonged to the conference because I have never seen 6 Spyders together in Connecticut. There was not an F3 among them so I did not bother turning around and trying to get a photo.

The conference runs through Friday. Demo rides are scheduled for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. For conference attendees only.
