I find all this front end complaining funny the last months have been nothing but whining about the heat issues and threats to sue and turn brp into the nhtsa over fires and all , so they do the obvious thing and move the radiators away from the foot area and open up the front for more air flow and all some can do is bitch about the styling , your choice heat or open air front and sides

Heck no, they (BRP) should be working to correct and perfect the current models before releasing more problems.

You are close but I believe it goes back to their snowmobile line.

It stands for Formula 3. They just condensed it. The 3 does stand for 3 cylinders. It did on the sleds.

The formula line of snowmobiles go back to the early 80's. They are a snowmobile company at heart you know.

imagesCAERVI1L.jpg They were pretty decent sleds for the day...
I was at the Shoot-Out in Booneville when they were introduced. 126 horsepower right out of the box...
Then; they let the "experts" tinker with it a bit...
    and they blew it up!
(The temperatures dropped about 15 degrees between the first, and second set of runs... )

Definitely agree. However, as long as it is a new model in addition to the current models, I'm all for it! I see nothing negative coming of it as long as it is a new model that has zero implications on the RS/RSS sport models.

Hopefully someday the RSS will come with about 150+HP and have an 11+ inch wide rear tire for max traction to harness all the power.

A spyder cruiser..... I like it...... I'll give a couple of years before I'm ready to trade in, and they get any bugs worked out.... Besides I didn't get as many miles in on my sts as I had planned this year, too many things on my plate, and it's been a crazy year. Not that I had any problems with my machine, just others things taking up a lot of my time.

I would say in this riding Position you should be able to be faster in the corners than an RSS !!
seems they have a new designerteam from Italy ?? - but it will be hard to get one for next year (sold-out ??)
so I need only a backrest for my Girl & some changes on the front (like always..)

Default Why do they do it??

Not trying to be negative, and it hasn't put me off the F3, but they seem to have done a similar thing to the F3 as they did to
    the ST.
ST= a new model style of Spyder, but on the ST SM5 the still put the same type of bumper on as the original RS/GS

F3= New Model but they appear to be using almost the same front turn signal as the original RS/GS

Im starting to wonder if they have Warehouses full of these components?

Just an observation, and I still want to try one

Lot's have asked for a "touring" version": you already have it in the RT. I'll bet money this is a naked version of the basic RT chassis with a few pieces of well placed plastic for aesthetics and function. Probably shed a bunch of weight although it will still weigh more than the RS/ST models.

Default F3T or F3 Limited Maybe

I'm wondering if BRP will come out with a version with windshield and detachable bags in a similar manner to what the ST Limited is to the the ST. The F3 looks like the perfect platform for that sort of thing.

I'm already trying to find ways that this doesn't make the ST useless as it is, add some saddlebags and a windshield, and I know most definitely the ST line won't make sense anymore.

Ever see a Mazda pick up sitting next to a Ford Ranger? Or a Chrysler next to a Mercedes. Look under the hood of a Hummer and you will find a Chevy Silvarado. What about the Lexus and the Toyota? Lots of common components there.
