    Default Who has the Oldest Spyder? What's the Mileage? Is it still fun? Any problems?

    Who has the Oldest Spyder on the Spyder Lovers Forum?
    How many miles have you got on it?
    Is it still as much fun as when you got it?
    Any Problems BRP or otherwise?

    There are still a lot of 2008s running around. Jim in NY just turned 100,000 miles on his.

    The originals are the 2008 GS's. They are a problem free, fun in the sun (and rain) unit.

    Doesn't Jay Leno have the oldest (chronologically speaking)? Wasn't his serial # 001?

    Yup, Jay Leno has #1, probably among the lowest mileage of the GS.

    I got the second one out of the first ones to hit Alaska. June 2008--but that don't qualify for oldest. Traded it off in 2010 on the RTS. It is still riding around here. Saw it a couple weeks ago.

    Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

    MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

    I think that Tina has Lamont's old GS... The mileage isn't near what Jim and Nancy have piled up, but it might be an EARLY bike...

    2008 gs #507 no problems now after getting the recalls fixed approximately 9300 miles on it

    April 2012 bought RT SE 30k miles 2 water pumps only real mechanical problems rear shock leaked dealer won't warranty it
    2012 RT A&C bought new 42312 sold July 2018 56k miles currently driving a 2014 RTSE6 LTD bought October 2018 w 6800 miles nicely farkled
