Your best bet is to go separate.

    Default Helmets

We like our Bells with the Sena's. Comfortable and the Sena is a good Bluetooth unit.

The Sena's work well, we had them in two different helmets. Scorpion makes a great helmet but it is a personal choice.http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/s...st-neon-helmet This is the one I have. Check out Motorcycle Dave on this site for bluetooth.

I recommend separate packages for helmet and communicators. That way you can get the best of each that works for you.

I am a fan of Nolan helmets. I have six currently. Three of the 100 series and three of the N40 series--most recently N44.

I like the flip up feature of the full face ones and the light weight of the N40 series.

All come equipped for the N-com setup. I tried the cable version and did not like it--so it was sent back. I currently use Sena SMH 5 but have also used Cardo 2. Both attached to the helmets nicely. I prefer the Sena because they have less static and can be left in the "on" position.

Go with a SENA and put it into any helmet you want. I would not buy another Nolan product! They DO NOT stand behind their product. The warranty is useless! Tom

Never had an issue with any of mine, so cannot say anything about lack of warranty. I have changed face plates and drop down visor--but those are wear items for me.

    Default Here's the thing..!!

you really need to find the best helmet for you. Good fit and quality. Then go for the soound/comm system. Those with built ins are limited. We have HJC modular helmets with the Scala G9. This works very well for us...

The best helmet companies do not design Bluetooth communication systems.

The best bluetooth companies do not design products to protect your noggin in a crash.

The helmets that include built in bluetooth are not the best of either.

The best helmet is one that is well made to protect you and FITS your head. They are very different. Try them on, do not mail order a helmet. Then add a SENA bluetooth system to your helmet.

The Sena units fit on just about any helmet and Sena offers different MIC setups depending on if your full face, modular, 3/4 etc... But it is a clamp on affair though very secure.

Some helmets come with a recessed area or even a hidden box for specific Bluetooth units. I will say that new Bell helmet with a spot specifically for the Sena SMH10 is an awesome looking and clean install of the Sena unit. It almost looks like it was built that way e.g. BT built in.

Other helmet makers support things like Cardio, HJC tends to support ChatterBox, etc.

I am a Sena lover myself because I went with them to begin with and have had no issues. I do not have experience with anything else but if it works, why mess with it

For me I integrated a HJC IS-33 with the UClear boomless mic Bluetooth setup. Works great and was very easy to install.

We like our Bell/Sena helmets. Good fit (for us) and the blue tooth unit is not hanging out in the way. Easy to remove the Sena with one push of the button to lock it away when you use the helmet things under the seat.

    Try before you buy...
