Rear wheel
Just had a new back tyre fitted and it was pointed out to me that the spokes on the sprocket don't line up with the spokes on the wheel, can anyone tell me if this will do it any harm please?ImageUploadedByTapatalk1403941014.858426.jpg

No harm but it was sloppy workmanship on the part of the installing dealer and looks bad. Also makes checking air pressure more difficult. I would take it back and ask them to do it right.

Have to agree..!!
I recently changed my tire and the shop manual clearly indictes to line them up. This takes a few tries because there is no guide hole so you have to turn and place it till you find the correct position. The air valve is probably the reason...

Odd the bolt-pattern didn't line-up. Faulty wheel during drilling? Get a replacement, though honestly it might actually improve stability with the weights staggered evenly like that. Take it back and fuss.

The sprocket just pushes in no bolts, with the cush drive under it. Won't hurt anything.

Try this..!!
go online and get a green manual on ebay so you and the fellow helping has all the steps for working on your roadster. They are fairly cheap about $20.00. They cover all work you may ever have to with all the spec's torques etc. Glad you have someone willing to work on your ryde..

Test ride today around 120 mls no problems and a smoother ride with the car tyre on the back so well happy.£125 to get tyre fitted, tail tidy bought and fitted and parking brake adjusted so not too bad I reckon

if you look in the shop manual...EVERY pic has the spokes lined up...but IMO "Idiot" mechanics don't line them up. mechanically, it doesn't hurt anything. astatically, it makes it look ugly!
