    Default Need help please

I have a 09 gas.I had to install a new oil pressure sensor today.Removed old one put new in but it wouldn't tighten.Looked at old one and you could see where the threads came out.Would a heli-coil work or any other ideas that would work. Thank you

A heli coil should work or you could tap it to a larger size and put a reducer in it.

    Default Helicoil..!!

This will work but the trick is tapping the hole to insert the coil. I have found greasing the tap and backing it out often to clean the metal particals off helps them from getting into the system. Did many a spark plug this way so as not to have to remove the head. Its your call good luck..!!

The grease trick works pretty good. Have used it many times before.
