2014 RTS Out the door price
I'm curious what people on the forum are paying out the door for their new
-
It seems to me that's going to be highly variable depending not only on the dealers willingness to deal, but also state and local sales and registration charges, etc

Looking for a range. Are there rules about not sharing this info?

No rules, just to many variables that may or may not pertain to your area.
Your best bet would be to phone around to the different dealers within a distance you'd travel to buy a Spyder and see who's most interested to work with you and the price.

Most likely belt vibration.
One of our site sponsors, Smooth Spyder had a remedy for that.

I'm partial to orange marmalade myself. Especially on a toasted corn muffin. Tom
Baloo is my name. Spyders are my game. Well, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, yes, it's a doo-bah-dee-doo, I mean a doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee, doo-bee-dee-doo. And, well, now. Ha ha! What have we here?

To at least provide a partial answer to your question, I paid 35K total before trade, but I got a good price on the trade, over book value.

Little checking..!!
I don't even know the suggested dealer price. As seen above to much is involved. You could ask what did you pay out the door and see but then you will still have to consider that persons location etc. The best is call all the dealers in your state..then pick the closest one and quote him the lowest price you got and see if he will deal with you....

Arizona 2014 RT-S SE6 OTD

OTD price Arizona 2014 Spyder RT-S SE6 is between $28,000-$29,000 (around list price OTD is normal range).
Len 417-863-1418 at Pitbull Powersports in Springfield, Mo has lowest OTD pricing of 2014 Spyder RT's.
Your trade in Spyder is lower now; because 2014 RT is very popular, with new 1330cc triple in line motor, smooth shifting trans, exhaust pipe under RT.

Typically if you find the right dealer and are not trading in anything you should be able to get $1500-2500 off from retail price. But be careful as some dealers try to add on $500-600 freight and $500-600 prep charges. I am on my fourth spyder and never paid any freight and prep charges but was quoted this by several dealers. My 2014 I went just over 3 hours to get but saved $7000 compared to the 4 other dealers within 1.5 hours from me.

Compared to the first offer my dealer made, my out the door price was about $2500 less. It took about an hour and a half of back and forth negotiation. Be patient.

I see you are from Southern Illinois as I am also. I bought mine from Holzhauer Motorsports in Nashville, IL. Service has been good there. When I purchase my next one it will be at Pit Bull Powersports in Springfield, MO. A little further drive but the service is second to none in my opinion. Give them a call and compare prices.

I am also interested in this as well.

That is what I would do if I were to trade. In Vermont we only have 3 Can-Am Dealerships , I would also check with the some of the Dealerships in New Hampshire. Deanna777

The sad fact is; we've all heard the horror stories of cruddy dealer service...
Besides; it's not what you've got IN the bike... It's what you get OUT of it, that truly matters!

I am also in the camp that one should consider service after the sale. The is a complicated machine and I am not able to work on it. I get good service after the sale, and that works for me.
I received a fair trade--IMO from the dealer. Taking into consideration the local market, the age of my trade, and the number of miles on it. (2010 RTS with 36K miles). I kept the Corbin seat and backrest, and sold the Seal Floorboards.
I had to write a check for around $15K difference--but in the end, I drove away a happy camper, no buyers remorse and am really enjoying the new . Will be ready for that first oil change service in less than thirty days or so.
There are better deals to be found, but not for someone who lives in Alaska like me.
Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.
Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)
MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles
IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.
