Came across inspector gadgets website and saw his floor boards. This guy is pretty handy when it comes to custom parts and pieces for the Spyder. Any one tried his floor boards? If so what do you think about them? They look like an easy install, and for the price, appear to be good quality merchandise. www.spyderrt.info

I had his floorboards on my 2010 RTS and now have them on my 2012 RT Limited. I love them and you can't beat the price.. Oh yeah, I am mechanically challenged and even I can install them in ten minutes

All h is farkles are super. 2 years and alm,ost 35,000 miles and his stuff is all doing well. The heel toe thingy is almost the best part, right behind the floorboards and front mini pegs instead of something 10 times the price. I am going to get his new type rubber surface for the floorboards. I'll get my wife to install that and I'll be all set for a while. I'd also be permanently maimed if I asked her, so I guess I'll have to do the resurfacing job.
I bought a set for my RT S and love them! Perfectly made of fine materials that have exceeded my expectations at less than 20% of the competitions cost. 5000 or so miles and many on's and off's with no problems--give em a try. Lock tight all the fasteners.
I've had the floorboards for about a year now. Love them. They give you the chance to move your feet around and are comfortable. No more keeping the ball of your foot or the middle of your foot on the pegs causing a little discomfort. They do flex a little when you step on them to climb on the Spyder but the bolts have never loosened up. Well worth the minimal cost. Easy to install, about 10 minutes. If you have the SM5 you will need the heel shifter. This increases the installation time about another 10 minutes. Use a spring loaded clamp while you line up the heel shifter to drill the hole for the screw for best results.
Sent RL, a check for the floor boards. Got a ride this weekend, but won't have them til I get back. Thanks for all the feed back on Gadgets floor boards. Looking forward to using them and ordering some more of his Spyder Gadgets.
