    Default RT wires?

I just noticed that BRP has an accessory 12V outlet for the frunk on an RT. Does anybody know if the wiring for it is there from the factory?
    thanks,

    john

I'm not sure what you are asking, but the outlet does provide power in my 2013 RTS SE5. It is only powered when the switch is on. Hope this helps. P.S. I added this later to show my stupidity. If I could only read, I would know that he said FRUNK. Duh

The frunk in in the front. I think that's what he is asking.

The 12 volt out let in the trunk is OEM supplied.

I knew the wires were there on my '08, but I had heard that the later models didn't have them. I gues I know what I'm doing the next rainy day.

    thanks,

My 2010 RT had the front harness, but I haven't found it on my 2011. Others have said it is there, though. I'm not interested enough to remove the trunk. Unlike your 2008 GS, the RT harness is unswitched, just like the rear trunk outlet (same circuit). The 2013 does things a bit differently.

I just install the 12V outlet in the frunk of my 2012 RT. Yes, it's totally plug 'n play-the wiring for the outlet is there up near the left front wheel. Look hard, you'll find it.

Is it switched or live all the time?

is it possible to be just a little more specific? maybe a pic, I am assuming its a 2 pin plug, maybe white in color?
