Not only is it fun, but it is good for your health
I go to the doctor several times a year, and my Systolic blood pressure is always borderline high. 2 of the last 3 times I have been to see the doctor I have been on the spyder. Both of my "spyder visits" have produced textbook Systolic numbers. Hopefully this means that I will have more time to ride, as I will be living longer.
Just sayin'.............
Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally
Just sayin'............

I found this all out about a dozen years' ago...
My first real episode with a diabetic ulceration on my left foot; I was going to the Wound Clinic a couple of times each week for them to cut away the dead tissue. Of course; they'd always take my blood pressure... We quickly discovered that if I drove my truck, it'd be 140/90. BUT. If I rode my bike; 90/60!
I did some testing; I thought about riding my bike, but that had no effect.
Then I tried thinking about how I felt when I rode... BINGO! 90/60 each and ever time!

It's a proven fact that thinking of something pleasurable will lower blood pressure. Also keeping you feet flat on the floor, not crossing your ankles will help too.
-
I found that I needed to think about how it made me feel; not just about riding...
But it DOES work!!

Yes the spyder is amazing but living up north really makes it hard to reap the benefits of the spider put to many miles on mine this winter ......cold bad! !!!!!!

To bad your Dr. couldn't write your a prescription so you could use it as a tax write off

I have the same problem and it will not go away. So I decided to avoid fatty foods and more of fruits and vegetables, coffee and sugar also on my lists. I am doing very well so far.

Do you think it may have something to do with having a job now and not being under as much stress, looking for one?

Not a cure all but the second best
it has to rank pretty darn high I think. But it has to be between 60/79 degrees to work for me.
