Been wanting one of those or a R1200 GS, for some adventure riding. Good to know they will do 140, but I'll never see it either.

Looked at adventure bikes. Liked the BMW too. Also thought for the price, Triumphs shaft drive would be adequate.

i just purchased a Yamaha Super Tenere. I looked at the KTM's, Truimph Explorer, and BMW GS 1200. All great bikes but in my area the Ktm didn't have a dealer close and this was by far the best off road bike. Good luck with your new love.
