Isn't it the truth about the pics! I have been wowed by the scenery before, with the trees ablaze in the sunlight, only to find the pictures I took to be something less. Maybe it is the lack of the wide-angle view your eyes take in, or maybe it is just the way digital pics turn out. I miss Kodachrome!

We leave Sunday for Tellico Plains, the Cherahola Skyway and the NC Mountains.
Next week we have reserved seats on the Smoky Mountain Railway out of Bryson City that traverses the Nanthala Gorge. It's a five hour trip that somehow we have missed taking in the past.
Hope the colors are still vibrant.

I have taken this train ride several times. It is great! You won't be disappointed.
