No RTS SE5 for now
For the last 150 miles or so I've been experiencing quite a few instances of stalling when coming to a stop. Today I dropped it off at the dealer to have it checked out. Any ideas on what could be causing this ? The machine has 12,250 miles on it and no major problems until now, I love my 2011 I hope that it will be fixed soon so I can continue ryding.

Mine did that from new and the dealer couldnt figure out why. That was one of the 10 continual issues that caused me to walk away from it. The new GL1800 trike will be ready by sprng.

Sounds like bad cluch group. Just had new one on my 2012 rts se5 ..why? Bad plates in it. New ones steal now and dam great pulling and shifting now. Thanks Shawn at poor caliber, Longview,wa and BRP for replacing them free. Way cool now.

Our 2010 RT-S did the same thing. They replaced throttle bodies, PCV valve, everything in the fuel management area and it still did it. Have them check the DESS module for shorts. That was the problem with ours.
