throttle body
[Before any of us got to ride one of these babies we saw what it was going to look like in it's finished state and I was bursting with excitement. The front looked more like a custom than a RT or RS but if you had to say it was one or the other it was definitely more like an RT but sportier. The 15" front wheels and low profile tires gave it a custom look and also improved riding stability. Added to that they included a larger rotor and much improved Brembo brakes even though the later models had great brakes to start with.
The ST has an adjustable windshield but it is not done with a motor or needing any tools, you just lift up and slide it where you want it and it locks in place.
Looks like all models have gone to throttle body and 100hp. Can the ST brakes and wheels be retrofited to the GS/RS?

Finally RT Driver Floorboards. Can't wait for the retro kit to hit the market.

I don't understand how they could put floorboards on the new ST but not on the new RT??

Now that I'm through with all the mods on my 2012 RT
Now, I'm going to have to start over.

I know you havn't finished updating but... The pics in the album show a vent on the windscreen that's looks really cool (punn intended).
would be nice to know if that can be retro fitted. Nice line up, personally I don't like the new fenders. Be nice to see the new rt in person.

I believe STS is $22,199 & ST Limited is $27,099. Not sure what the base ST is.

Does the STS have the color display like the RT?, & second question is the sound system compatible with the current ST Hybrid communication system and phone integration?

So basically: Harley marketing is so good that it has to be copied every way possible: clothing line, mileage pins, clubs and now creating bikes out of the parts bins by mixing and matching the same body parts again and again ..,, blurring lines between the different models.... Does that mean we are stuck with the same engine for the next 20 years too ?? Please Honda/Yamaha/Kawasaki get on the 3 wheelers niche!!!

BRP is very known for listening to the customers. And many people for the last 2 years wanted a hybrid between the RS and RT. I heard post after post after post here on spyderlovers about this. BRP is not known for "blurring". They are known for dancing on the edge. In the off road world, they just release this year an RTV vehicle that is triple digit in horsepower (something no one thought would ever be done ). It's just a matter of time before they do something crazy for the spyder engine. I believe they are really trying to build a comfortable profitable market for the spyder before they dance on the edge.

Probably, I guess we were expecting big changes all around. Especially people that tow (bigger engine). Its just not enough for me to lose some on mine and pay more to upgrade.

Which one Lamont? Are you saying that the RT is not the same at all? Do I need to find some $$ for a new Spyder?
