Thanks everyone. Still love this forum. Been setting some people right on the spyder on some wing forums. Lot of lies out there. Not sure why people make stuff up about the spyder??? Really werid.
Got just shy of 500kms on the wing today.

Glad to hear that saw your posts on the GL1800 forum where a certain person who had a Spyder had started a thread warning people off the Spyder. His post went on and on and on how bad the Spyder was.Various statements made by him about how bad the Spyder,BRP and the dealers were are completely in contradiction to posts made by the same person on this forum.I checked the posts.
Its a free world if someone wants to change good luck to them.I believe if you have nothing good to say don't say it.

Interesting, curiousity prompted me to drop in on said forum. recognized several posters from here.
Personally if I decide to ever ride any other brand of bike, i wont be on another forum saying what a dumb decision i made to spend a big wad of dollars on a spyder or any other bike.

I responded to that thread (post number 28) but your fighting a losing battle on an owner forum. I just wanted to add my two cents, there have been problems but there are far more out there that have had no major problems. Might be a couple of readers on the GL1800 forum contemplating a Spyder and would be totally put off by one bad expearance, I tried to offer another perspective.

Saw your post which I thought was well written and explanatory but regrettably there was no response to it.Most of the responses from various people were totally uninformed and much like Camden Lake describes.

Hey Josh!
I like your new ride, but I prefer our "Orange Screen of Death" to the Blue one that you have now...
Nothing says
, like Orange!

HAHAHA nice one. That just from having the rear trunk open when i took the pic of the 1km odo at pick up. It plays a cuite little video of the trunk or side cases when open. Similar to the RT just with motion to it .

Really like the color of the wing. There are alot of trouble free Spyders. I have 27k on my 2010 RT and would jump on it tomorrow for a cross country trip. I have not had any problems with it at all. The few problems I have had have been my fault. I think it has alot to do with the dealership you buy it from.
