What a change of course
I have met andchatted with some great folks. But the decision has been made and the dealer ispicking up my spyder and it is not to come back. That is what i told themtoday. I can not trust it and with my job i cannot be broken down or have somethingthat seems to have a high probability of that. This the best forum i have beenon been a short but awesome blast. I may get another some day but they need toprove they have gotten better. Not sure what will replace it that remains to beseen. I suppose there is always a chance it will come back but I don't think soand the dealer did not object. He is working on some options as he is a dealerfor many brands. Seemed like a good idea and was a lot of fun when it was ahappy spyder. Like some have said when you have a good one its great when you don'**** not. It defiantly is not. Keeping the trailer for the next bike atleast .
Thanks
Josh

Wow didn't realize you had so many troubles? Hopefully you don't take a $$ beating and good luck with the replacement "toy".

It's not like you had not said it could happen. What a shame! Hope you hang a round.

Sorry to hear Josh! Hope you are not taking a loss.

Josh I'm truly sorry that you have lost faith in your Spyder, it was nice meeting you at SITA. Hope you didn't take too much of a hit on the Spyder.
I wish you good luck with finding a new ride.

I am sorry to see you go, but I sure understand your thoughts. I just got BR1 out of the shop after six plus weeks awaiting parts and getting repaired. He has 7,100 miles and my Wing has 62,000. My Wing has never been in the shop. If BR1 stops again, he goes. I will buy and trike another Wing.

Thanks for all the wishes. Really a great group on here. Today was the day at about 11am est the dealer delivery guy came and became the pickup guy. Should have more info next week as to what will occour. I too hope i dont take a beating i have had that talk with with owner already. The staff tells me he was on the phone having a disucssing with someone at BRP about the whole thing. So it appears at the moment i am leaning toward a 2012 Wing. We shal see.
Thanks again will post pics since you asked. Didnt talk much here about the issues as i know its not all i just got the one. So dont have any intention of bashing anything. Crap happens. Moving on....

Sorry to hear you are parting with the . On the other hand, I can see where you are coming from. They are great machines if everything is working good, but, they can get pretty mean if the computer does not like something.
Wishing you the best in whatever you purchase and hope you don't take to much of a hit on the trade in. Sticking with the same dealer may be helpful to you in this case.
Don't be a stranger and let us know about your new ryde.

The deal is done
The spyder is no longer mine and all the goodies with it. I will be picking up my 2012 Red Wing friday if all goes as planned. I really enjoyed this forum some great folks. Dont worry i will still wave to spyders hahahahah . Dealer treated me with supurb respect and took care of it as i hoped. If anyone needs anything in the ottawa area Loiselle Sports is the place to go. Stand up folks.
Thanks again all

Sorry Josh. Kinda makes you wonder how many other people not on Spyder Lovers have done the same thing. I have two RTs, a 2010 and 2012. So far no issues.

Nope didnt really need the trike for any real reason. Maybe someday i suspect. My shoulder is an issue but it was on the spyder too so no biggy just live with it.

It was great meeting you in the Adirondacks. Sorry that the RT didn't work out for ya, but hope you will still frequent this forum and come to some of the events. Great folks on here and you are a great example of why I enjoy being at as many events as I can. Hope to see you again.
