The Missus wouldn't allow me to pull the trigger on anything but BLUE. We actually ended up changing dealers and models to get the color that she wanted.
But in her defense; Blue would have been my first choice as well!

Silver Silver Silver
Had to be a 2010 RT SE5 Silver...would not even consider another color...that is why I purchased in Illinois couldn't find one any closer!!!! But now I know about Cowtown and a couple other highly rated dealers so whenever I get ready to get a new RT...color will still be #1 on list!!!

I actually liked the black, but once I saw the pearl white in person, I changed my mind rather quickly!!

Color
Had to be Black....so, I bought a year back.
-
When i bought my Spyder April of 08, Yellow was the only color, With Sliver coming out next.
I wanted Yellow anyway, I figure if i was getting a Machine made by BRP it might as well be in their flagship color.

when the mrs and i were looking, we had the rss grey metalic/black on our minds. neither one of us really liked the neutron green and we still wanted the rss. when i got to the dealer and was ready to lay down the cash, neutron green and the can am red (pumpkin orange) were all that he had in sm5, which was another "had to have". she looked at me, i looked at her and and at almost the same split second, we both said," the orange is kinda nice", so needless to say, that's what we got. glad we got it! love the look and get compliments on it and the graphics all the time.

Only one color available, and it was OK (not Hardley orange or lime green). So not at all.

Went with Lava. Thought it would not show the dust and scratches as much. Don't have any scratches yet!

Had to be red
Occupational Hazard, Too bad it doesn't have a black top....
-
It had to be something visible. When the red RT-S was a tad out of our price range, we went with the blue RT A&C. The silver looks nice in the sunlight, but I was aftaid it would be invisible if we hit a fog bank.
My absolute favorite looks wise is the Lava Bronze. That tan seat really sets it off.

How much did the color affect your decision when purchasing your Spyder?
Well, since I'd decided on red long before I had even gotten to the dealer, I guess the affect would have been that I was headed to a different dealer if they couldn't get me one

Color
There is no way I would buy a color I did not like! I wanted a bright high visibility color and the neutron green stands out. I am for anything that makes me a little safer!

Told my hubby any color but red. I had a red car for years, and wanted something different. When we walked into the dealership, there it was, the most beautiful sight I had ever seen!! And wouldn't you know it, it was red...lol!! Actually, I do think it's very visible, and that's good for safety concerns. I do love the white, though! But all in all, very happy with Spydee .

The Red and Black RS in 2009 called my wife's name when she first saw it but when it came time to "upgrade" to the RT the sun was shining through the showroom window on the Pearl White Ltd and it was "all she wrote".

How much did the color affect your decision when purchasing your Spyder.
Not at all. I would have bought any color that was priced right. Learned long ago that you can get it painted. I was lucky to find a Orbit Blue at the right price, but the next bike was yellow (my wife's favorite)
Is it Friday yet? ... Oh yeah, I forgot. I'm retired
Past bikes
2010 RS - Sold
2012 RT - Sold
2014 RT - Testing completed

Really?
They come in a color other than RED? I did not know that...
-
I liked the blue, until the lava bronze came out, then I was sold!
-
I ordered BR1 and waited two months for him to come in. Well worth the wait.
