You may be the first to report this type of wear......mostly it's inside edge = chamber issues usually.....being that it's only one tire and you have 13000 miles ...it's sounds like a mechanical problem other than normal alignment issues........Did the wear appear suddenly ??? or do you think it has just been wearing slightly faster than the left tire ?????......Mike.... ..............PS..you identified both left and right tires as the one with the problem , that's kind of confusing.????????

When only one tire wears it is usually a result of suspension damage, loose suspension components, or possibly a steering centering (sensor) issue. There are some more remote additional possibilities. Too much toe-in (or toe-out) should wear both tires fairly evenly.
Your Spyder suspension needs to be thoroughly and carefully inspected, and the steering sensor calibration checked.

If the wear took place gradually over time then you've probably had a toe in issue (alignment) from the beginning. Really, the only thing that will give you wear on the outside of the tire is alignment misadjustment.
Toe in will give you wear on the outside of the tire.
Toe Out will give you wear on the inside of the tire.
Worn parts will give you toe out (wear on the inside of the tire)
Bent tie rod will give ou toe out (wear on the inside of the tire)
There is also Caster and Camber, but we don't want to get into that!

Happened to me.
The handlebars weren't correctly centered. BRP now has a tool for the dealers that provides for proper centering.
As always, my free advice comes with a double your money back guarantee.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.
