Default Limp mode on Talladega race track

Got to run about 5 laps on Talladga track yesterday.Told us not over 80 in curves as fast as we want on straits that didn't last long.Went into first corner thought oh what have i done.I thought i was going to roll down the curved.I think they said they were about 48 degrees. After first curve i open it up looked down 1 time was going 110 took rest of curves wide open i even lap the pace car witch was a cop car.We had about 150 bikes their ran about 50 at a time.I came out of first turn went from 100+ to 45 went on around to pits.Pulled in had my pit girl take a little wedge out of left rear then she pulled key put it back in everything ok.I don't know what cause the limp mode unless the steep angles causing the senors to think i was running upside down.Police clocked 1 crotch rocket at 150 before he blew a rear tire.I don't know how he kept it up but he did.He stopped about 1/2 mi down track hauled him out on trailer. This is the 4th year the Clanton AL FOP lodge has had this ride this was my first won't be last.Ride from clanton AL to Talladega track police escort their and back just cost 25.00.You even get your pictue taken in winners circle.

I want to do that! I get to ride on Indy in August but I really doubt that they will let us go fast.

Default WOW, I CANNOT BELIEVE I MISSED THIS

I truly hate that I missed this. I have been dying to put Spydee on a track. We are originally from Clanton so this would have been double fun. I will certainly watch for the announcement next year. I also still have family in Clanton so I will tell them to keep a look out as well.

Glad the rain held off and you got to enjoy it.

    Thanks for posting.

For the record, the headline "Limp Mode on Talladega Race Track" made me think of "Impotence While Dating Kate Upton."

if we could get a big group of spyder ryders together, we could bring the per person cost way down, would that not be a fun way to spend the day!!!!!

    Default 100 Riders X $100.00

I'd be interested (like to get my Fox shocks and sway arm first), and 100 of us putting up $100 apiece certainly sounds reasonable. I would just need some lead time as it would be a day's ride up and a day's ride back.

Does anyone get scarred about the fact that there are 50 other riders that may be new to racing on a track--or do they let each person go spaced apart? Just curious as to how that works. I would think an accident could lead to one of those famous Talladega pileups.

    Default TRACK

They let 50 riders go at one time, but everyone was spaced out. After 1 lap some were going slow down on apron the rest was haulingup on the track. The only thing that got in my way was the pace car had to watch passing him.Other than that everyone seemed to have plenty of space
