Don't buy Western Services extended warranty!!!!!!!!!!
Paid $1700 and they didn't cover my sprocket and drive shaft. However I was told by BRP that it would have been covered under their warranty.

Thanks,

Anyone know about getting the Best from other states when one resides and registered in Florida???

I don't recall being asked where I live, or where my Spyder is registered when purchasing BEST Warranty. I suppose if you had a non-FL address it would eliminate any problem.

The BRP web site has two brochures for the B.E.S.T. warranty. One is specifically for Florida. The Florida version looks to be covered by General Fidelity Insurance Company. Could the B.E.S.T. warranty changed now for Florida so it can be sold by the Florida dealerships?

I have shown the BRP site, Best Fl waranty to the Fl dealer and still they say NO SALE... grrr

I live in WA and purchased mine from a dealer in CA..3 years for less than $800. I used it once in WA. Same price for the RS or the RT.
I m guessing that if you purchase it from some other state, FL dealers will have to honor it. It's virtually the same as the original warranty except for the $50 fee.
I think FL has some goofy law that does not allow dealers to sell the BEST warranty.

I would not assume anything. It is just as likely that they might not. In fact, I'm not even positive that all other Spyder dealer need to honor it...although they may. Until we get book and verse on this from a person in authority, we should not speculate.
