The surgery went well!
Hello everyone!
Well I'm home from my gallbladder operation and everything went well. I went in at 9:30 AM this morning and was out around 3:00 PM. My son took school off today because he wanted to stay at the hospital with me to give me some moral support. My Daughter had to be in school for her classes, she drove me home after she was out though. I feel a little week and have some body aches and pain which I would expect. The meds they gave me, besides making me feel stoned, do help and keep me relaxed. The surgeon told me to just not do much of anything throughout the weekend at all. So, I guess I will just be lazy and have my teens be my servants.

I had my Gaul bladder removed a few years back. I didn't have much pain either. Loved the pain meds. They kept me over night. But I was out early morn. Thats when I found out that I only have one kidney. A few months after the surgery I had heart surgery. What else can they operate on?

Yeah the pain meds are the funnest part!
I had a hard time weaning off those though - you gotta be careful with them.

I guess that is the price we all pay for getting older! All we can do is pray and hope that our quality of life isn't affected much.

Ok, while your resting up you can think about that meet and greet up in your neck of the woods. That will keep your mind thinking of good stuff.

Great news you will be back in the saddle in no time

Glad to hear everything went well for you, and am very interested in the teen servant idea as well.
Wishing you a very speedy recovery.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Just watch your diet, limit high fat foods, they can bring on phantom gallbladder attacks, ask me how I know. Also be careful lifting or bending, not like you'll feel up to it right now. Go with the child servants, that's why you had them right? Good luck and I hope for a quick mend.
