woo hoo , not only am I near the top of the page, I think I am the greatest # so far #412, there was
also a 414 at the same dealership,he got lucky and didn't have to wait like me.

BTW my Vin# ends in the same last 4 digits too

i thought you all said they weren't gonna do that!

My new

RT-S (PE 0016) is at the dealer and assembled. I left it with them until the electronic install is completed. To damn cold for me to ride it anyway. LMAO

I will trailer it home in my toy hauler I guess.

My RT-S came home yesterday. Planning a day of ridin tomorrow during the superbowl. Roads should be clear.

PE #440 Dealer said it was the first SE5 delivered in CA. Don't care. The paddle shifters and tranny are verrrry smooth.

MY PE came with a nice sticker with "Premier Edition" and my # on it. It was in a little zip lock in the glove box . Dealer didn't know what it was for, but it looks to me like it should be on the bike somewhere.

Anyone have an idea?

That sticker is to put on a trailer. It does have the RT-622 (trailer designation) and the PE# of your RT-S. It's like the lock cylinder, just in case you get the trailer.

I received the long anticipated call on Friday afternoon from my dealer that my RT had arrived. The RT was being assembled and would be available the next day to take home. The following day, Number "279" was being polished as I arrived. After signing the title papers, I drove it home. I wasn't 1 mile from the dealer and a car with 2 people pulled up beside me and asked " what is that?" The questions are already starting! The bad news is that my trailer was also at the dealer, but damaged on the rear hood during the shipping process. Have to wait on that to be replaced. Overall, I'm sooooo

Uncrated it and pulled a Lamonster and tore the bike apart to put the Can-Am Accessories and my stuff. Will install my stuff and the GPS and trailer hitch this week and he hopes to have the XM and CB next week to finish the job. Glad my wife can't see our new ride in a zillion pieces

but I will bring it home all put together next week after the other parts arrive.

I will finish this work this week and the dealer will finish the install with the last two components and PDI it and should be able to ride it home Thurs/Fri which is good since I have hernia surgery on Tuesday and can't lift anything heavy for a couple of weeks -- the doctor didn't say I couldn't sit on a three wheeler and paddle shift my around the county on my way home.

Scotty - i'll try to get the pin out on the 8-pin Delphi connector for the headset while we are at it.
Only thing that I am not happy about is the carpeting in the trailer which is barely adhered at the top edge and is curling but it is cheap stuff and some velcro should fix that problem.

Has anyone with a trailer figured out where the weird shaped decal with your Spyder PE number on it that is for the trailer is supposed to be applied.

Probably won't use but just interested.

Either way I'm happy and looking forward to a lot of fun miles finally.
