How to remove the quarter turn cover latch on access panel F3
Im fixing to get a few pieces wrapped and would like to take the quarter turn cover lock (part number 708400065) off the Access panel before it is wrapped. I tried to remove it with a little force but was wondering if there is a trick. I notice on cheapcycleparts that it is 2 separate pieces (quarter lock and the panel itself) so i know you can replace the quarter lock but does anyone know how to remove the lock? I tried pushing straight down while the panel was upside down but i didnt want to give it all my mite. And please before anyone says "Search for it" as said in other post i have read it have searched and the search query is not all that great. Reminds me of the programs we design at work

Sorry, can't help with removing the lock; but if you are having issues with the search facility here (& I hafta agree, it's not great! ) you can always just add 'site:spyderlovers.com' to the end of your search string in google etc.

I've got the access panels wrapped too, you need to put quite a bit of force to click them out, it's easier to put them back in tho.
Excuse my bad English, am from the Netherlands and new to this forum.
It's just clicked in, with a sort of collapsible ring.

Push hard. They just click in and out.

You need to distribute the pressure evenly.
Lay the latch upside down on a hard work surface.
Lay the panel upside down on top of the latch.
Note the alignment of the small latch tab with the curved slot in the panel.
Place a large socket (like 17mm) on the latch area.
Push on the socket. Hard.

Where can I find the access panel door round latch? I have one that broke off and the panel went flying! Panel was okay (few scratches), but the lock is now broken. Anyone know where I can obtain another latch?

Access Panels are part #708400238/239 for Left/Right sides. Look at the parts diagram... you'll see the twist-lock listed as a seperate part. I just bought 2 access panels, and neither came with the locks. They do ineed have their own part number.
And as other said, they snap in/out. You just need to make sure the locks are turned so the tabs and keyways line up (look on the underside of the panel and the lock)

To all; pertaining to my pnl latch issue, I had to order the latch pin from RideNow Powersports shop while I was in Concord, North Carolina. Part #708400065 Description: Quarter Turn
correct part as listed by LesGrossman https://leadersrpmshop.com/can-am-ne...nel-708400238/
