Looking at the options and getting confused. Do any Spyder Riders use a tank bag? There are a huge number available, but which one would be the best option?
All I want is a place to put a wallet, phone and a couple of papers. Perhaps a paper map would find its way in there also.

Reason: Expanded title to briefly ask the question... ;-)
I use a small Hopnel tank bag by Big Bike Parts. It measures 9" long by 6" wide by 3" high (when filled). The main pouch has a zipper closure and Velcro flap while the smaller pouch is 6". x 4" x 1" and has a clear window and Velcro flap closure. It mounts on the glove box lid of my 22015 Spyder RT-S. It's held in place by three elastic straps - two slip around the lid and the third goes over the front edge and is held in place by a Velcro pad on the front of the 2 slip-on straps. It's easy to mount and remove and is large enough for a good size phone and wallet and other small items. Unfortunately, I don't recall where I bought ours, and my quick check didn't reveal any vendors.
Since my wife's 2012 RT-S was replaced by a 2021 Sea to Sky, we have an extra one. If you don't find anything suitable let me know and I'll send you the extra.

I have yet to install it, but I believe it is the same product as Arion referenced.

I got a tank bag on mine. Took the seat off and ran straps from an anchor point under the seat to the bottom of the bag, where I put a military style side release buckle. Ran the top straps on up to anchor points on each side. That model bag comes with a weather-proof map case that straps to the top of the bag if you want, or will store in the bag. You can also slip Fire Tablet or something else in the mao case. Plenty of room for small MP3 players with bluetooth to the helmet speakers. The bag has 3 or 4 zippered compartments for maps, notes, and small items. Had it attached full time for about 4 years. Still ingood condition and no broken zippers.
To fuel up, I just unsnap the lower buckle and flip the bag over the handlebars.

I may get one for myself, I like the clear window that protects the phone.
Even though I have the tackform centermount I need someplace to put my phone when it rains but can still see the maps on it.

While I personally can't confirm a specific model for that bag, I suspect it's the Hopnel Tux Tie bag mentioned by Arion & RickWB in their earlier posts in this thread; and I'm gonna go out on a limb here and take a punt at the bag mentioned/shown being manufactured by Hopnel!
They're available fairly readily from a variety of sources - on ebay & amazon as well as through places like BigBikeParts & other retailers.
