BRP brackets for the shad bags: 219400728 made in Spain
BRP Shad bags:219400721 made in China
Both the brackets and the bags had instructions in the box but if they don't you can go to:https://instructions.brp.com/e-instruction.html#tab=1 and type in the part number for any BRP part and the site will show you the latest install directions.
The instructions say that the brackets are about a 0.75 hour install, I took about 3 1/2 to 4 because I had not seen any install previously. The job is pretty straight forward but you will require some torx wrenches, lok tight and a 3/4" drill to enlarge 2 holes in the plastic. All other parts are included in the both the brackets and the bags.
The brackets are sturdy, well made and fit well.
The bags are well made, fit the brackets well and can be locked onto the brackets for a bit of extra security and include 2 keys and an extra tumbler if you decide to add a top bag.
Pros:
Well made, fit as expected and will provide some extra storage when on an extended trip or overnighter.
Cons:
Too expensive, bags are made in China, my 509 full face helmet will not fit in the bag (can't close the latch) and I don't like how they look when on the trike (look like an after thought, no attempt to stream line). The bags will rarely be on the trike except as noted above.
I sure like mine. I actually think there the best looking bags I've ever had, and IMHO compliment the lines of the F3s. My XXL HJC i90 Modular full face helmet will also fit, but it's tight.
