Where to purchase Kenda Kanine rear tire?
Greetings all,
Long time since I've been on here.
I'm trying to order a Kenda Canine rear tire for my 2018 RTL but it seems to be backordered everywhere I look.
Dose anyone have a source where I may purchase one?
Thank you in advance
Sincerely
Lewis Seifried

Look it up. This is what I found when I did. https://powersports.kendatire.com/en...street/kanine/
So far I can’t find anyplace that has them in stock. I’ve been told early summer.

Why would you want a Kenda when the are far superior car tires out there for way less $$?
Ours is a red, black and chrome 2017 F3 Limited. Bought new in 2/2019. The avatar is my first bike back in 1952, a Simplex Servi-Cycle. Photo taken at the Barber Museum.

My Kenda Kanine has it embossed on the sidewall.
'For Special Motorcycle Use Only'. I got the tire last May. I purchased it from the Spyder Dealer and they installed it.
They will not install anything else. .....

I checked the specs for the " Kanine tire " right after it was introduced. .... It didn't have " 4 " plys at that time, the specs were the same as the Reg. Kenda's. So if it has " 4 " plys Now, they changed the carcass specs. ..... Mike

...I have looked at My Kenda Kanine and it only shows the tread as 3 ply. The sidewall is only a one
ply. This is a October 2020 made rear tire.
This is on my Spyder. ......

Tucker has hundreds of dealers U.S. wide so somebody may have the ability to order them from one of the Tucker distribution points. The tucker.com website has a pretty good dealer locator page and I see there's about 5 or 6 Tucker dealers in the greater bay area, so one of them might be able to help.
Or things might be as bad as one could fear and nobody has them.

Has anybody got a recently removed late model tyre. Perhaps they could cut it with a hacksaw or something and have a look at it end on. Then post the images. Easy enough to see just how many plys are there I reckon. 1 ply or a bunch more. I will cut mine when its stuffed but it will be a while. My new to me 2017 F3 came with new tyres and im far too thrifty to chuck them as so far they seem to be doing the job.

Been banging on at every opportunity how crap they were. Possibly true the last time you had any correct information.
They seem to have redesigned them in later times, haven't they??
Some say 1, some say4 , some have said 3 and 1 on the side I have seen lately.
Hence my question.

Ok time to settle down with the sarcasm and swearing. Discuss the tire don’t make it personal.

The guy just asked where to buy the tire. Not what you thought of said tire. I see that a lot on this forum. The negative comments get old and always seem to come from the same sources but I guess it is what it is.
I want to know how Blueknight deleted his post? I cannot figure out how to do that.

You can do the next best thing, Dave……. if there's anything more than a minor edit required, simply PM any Mod (look for the Green Usernames) and ask them to help. They can do things that we can't!

Since I'm not mechanically inclined, and there's no one local to help me, I'm stuck getting Kendas installed by my dealer.
As it happens, I'm down to the wear bars on my rear. So I contacted my dealer. None in stock ay the moment. First they said end of April, then they said May. Today, they said June. I asked if, due to this non-availability, would they waive their policy against installing non-OEM tires; they said no.
Must be one of those "supply chain" issues. Maybe the tires are sitting in a freighter off the west coast.
So BRP's anal-retentive policy against installing non-OEM tires is going to keep some riders sidelined for the next several months, and apparently they're OK with that.
