Seth used to work for them. He went out on his own, just down the road from them. We did a ride in, and mine fits me perfectly! I have a RDL on my Harley, SpyderAnn has a RDL on her F3T. I believe my Laam saddle is as good, if not better. It also cost hundreds of dollars less. Laamseats.com
I think Fred Weiss emailed a picture to Joe I’ll tell him to look for it

I had Seth do my Honda CTX 700 seat. He converted my stock seat from sitting on a rock to sitting on clouds of comfort.
He is very thorough. He asks a lot of questions to make your seat comfortable for YOU (and pillion).
I live in Northern California, but was unable to ride in. I sent my seat to him and it was completed in a week.
He let's you know when your turn is coming up, so you do not have send away your seat for weeks on end waiting.
I can't recommend Seth enough.

Too bad you didn’t get to do a ride in, Seth is a super host and has a very nice customer lounge set up, much, much nicer than Russell Day Long’s.

Not sure whats up with LAAM Seats sent a couple of emails and seat order requests never heard anything, no response back.
I guess they are too busy or don't care .
Reviving this thread from nine months ago. Any other F3 riders who can provide input on the Laam seat? I just got off the phone with Seth and he was a wealth of info. Thinking I want to do the seat mod, as he can have it done/back before my WI riding season begins. Any updated photos? Just want to spend my $350 wisely Thx for any input...

When looking at seat alternatives, cptjam has the best advice. He knows, and has logged more miles than most of us will ever see. There is one other company that I like. Tom Simmons Custom Seats in Arkansas. I have a TS Custom seat on my Goldwing and it is truly an all-day seat. Very high-quality product that I have ridden for over 100K miles without issue..... Jim

Yeah .. I'm well versed in seats . I can't remember on my last 7-8 bikes that I used the stock seat. I've owned Sargeants (KLR), Saddlemen, Mustang (current on my H-D), Corbins (5 of them on various bikes), Mean City Cycle mods (H-D stock seat), Great Day To Ride mod on my 800 Tiger, etc. I contacted both Allen at Mean City and Spencer at GDTR, but neither do mods with the F3 single seats. I want to maintain my two piece set up, so that eliminates Mustang/Corbin. I'll likely get my preorder in today with Seth, which will put the seat in production in approx 3 weeks. I am still perusing the web !!

My wingman has had both the RDL and now has the LAAM seat. He made the change cuz the RDL was hard. I guess there was some sort of metal support in the seat pan or something. I sent my seat up there as well. Can't do log rydes/days with my injuries. And it is a very nice seat. He builds them for touring, so if you like a more aggressive position make sure you get your point across in advance. I had to send mine back to have it redone but in the end I am happy with it. 20191125_110131.jpg

$350 for an F3 Laam? I spent $1,400 for my RDL, I love my seat but I love $1,000 more. I can’t believe that CPTJAM didn’t tell me about Laam before he let me spend $1,400. He loves his Laam and everyone I know that has one has been really happy.

The Laam website shows $349 for front seat only, but was told the Spyder F3 front is $399 due to the larger area. I ride solo, so to cover the passenger seat with matching vinyl is another $50. Plus applicable shipping $$.

I call him and he always answers. That said, I'd call him early in the AM. With you being EST, I'd say try around 10A your time = 7A PST. My production sate is Mar 02
