Have a safe trip Les & Kathy!!! Too bad this snow storm going to slop up the roads and get Kathy's pretty Spyder all messed up.

It's a Kendon trike/spyder trailer that I added Etrac to as well as made a spare tire mount for mounting it on the front rails. The stock mount is under the trailer - just where you would have to unload the trailer and jack it up so you can try to unbolt it - no thanks!
The trailer pulls great and I can fold it up and stand it up against a inside garage wall. We live in a detached town home and not allowed to park a trailer outside.
We are going to Apache Junction

Marty, I had to shovel for nearly a whole day before I could get to the garage to see my Spyder. At least you could open the door from the house to see yours.

Today (11/28) All the bikes are parked. Rain and 38 degrees. The 2011 has gone to "no more rides." Linda took her last 100 mile ride on Monday. Going to "decommission" it for the ride back to iMotorspots for resale. Pulling all the stuff out of the storage, license plate to be removed, and the new water jug carrier to be removed. It has been a great Spyder since purchase in 2012. No issues whatsoever.
The 2014 RT and the Vulcan are now our primary rides. Linda has ridden the 2014 but not a lot, and not for awhile. She went about 75 miles on it on Tuesday and I rode shotgun on the Vulcan. She likes the "more power, and the lighter" feel of the 2014.
I still love riding the Vulcan 900. It is a nice break from the "usual." F3L should arrive in two to three weeks.

Proper farkeling
I'm warming the garage ( 12* F here last night) to install some TricLED Fenderz safety lights. Newer style has sequential pattern and looks KOOL.

Took the Spyder out in the rain today, had not ridden in the rain in several years, and guess what, she got mad at me and overheated, went into limp mode. Now she gets to ride on a flat bed back to the dealer on Tuesday! So much for having the water pump replaced

Yes, the F3L has a stop/brake light in the trunk. It's fun to put a flasher on the brake light element. Here's the one I used:

Nope, just south of Carson City, NV. Could have passed for Flagstaff, though... got snowed in there one year on a two-wheel trip.

Measurements indicate that my F3L has toe out. So I attempted to give it some toe in so she won't be such a handful until I can get a laser alignment. The outside tie rod jam nuts are very accessible, but the insides are another story. The space they are in is very tight and no metric or SAE wrench (spanner) would fit the nuts, I resorted to a Crescent wrench and I still could not loosen them.
+ Are the inside tie rod threads right or left hand threads?
+ What size is that nut?
+ Anyone do this DYI on their F3? How did you access the inside jam nuts?

you need a crowsfoot spanner 18mm
you can make one,or buy a set
the inside nut turns in the same direction as its corresponding outside nut
eg. working on say the left side, undo the outside left nut and note which direction it went(right side is different),then move the inside left nut in the same direction
