Bikes, Blues, & BBQ--Fayetteville, AR
The 10th Anniv. Motorcycle Rally is the 23-26 Sep. On the 26th is the Parade of Power The staging area for the parade is at Baum Stadium Parking Lot on Beechwood @ 3:00 pm, parade to start at 4:00 pm. This staging area is just south of the "demo. area" where the Corporate sponsors are set up, i.e.... CanAm(Bradford Marine), Harley, etc... Lev Bradford, of Bradford Marine, has extended a special invitation to all Spyder Ryders as an opportunity to meet all of us; if he hasn't already, and to have a group photo. taken at the demo. area, and then for all of us to join the Parade of Power as a group. This would be so-o-o-o cool!
The plan is to meet @ 1:30 in the Corp. sponsor (demo.) area, with the photo's to be taken at 2:00 Afterwards, Spyders join the Parade of Power.

Cool Lev Bradford is going to get things cleared with the powers that be so we can get through to the Corp./demo. area on our Spyders, have our group photo taken, and then join the Parade of Power from there.
Look forward to see'n ya there.welcome

First photos!
Here's a few photos from opening day (today) at BBB in Fayetteville, AR.
That's my wife on the RT. They would not allow rides on the RT,
only on the GS and RS models. At least I got to sit on the RT!

The red, black and silver are the designated demo 2009 GS and 2010 RS bikes. There was one yellow that was for sale (not a demo) and there was, of course, my yellow, spotted all over town, which turned 4000 miles on the way to this event.
I'm leaving home in a hour for Day Two of the festivities. More photos to follow. Can't wait for Saturday's Power Ride....4000 bikes and all the Spyders grouped together (I hope!)

Day Three!
Day Three Report:
Went to the separate venue called Bikes, Blues and Hot Rods, then a trip to my Spyder Svc Dept for replacement brake fluid reservoir caps, then many, many hours on Dickson Street, the main venue for BBB, watching bikes, women (sorry honey!) and eating BBQ.
The photos show the various Spyder Roadsters I spotted on Dickson St. There was at least one more, yellow with Corbin bags, but my camera was not at-hand before she passed me by. And take a look at that wild red four-wheeler!
Tomorrow, Day Four, the last day, includes the big Power Run, 4000 bikes, and we're gonna try and have all the Spyder Roadsters grouped together. Meet up early for a group photo shoot at the BRP display!

I heard that Bradford Marine / BRP would like us to meet at their display area around 2:30-ish for group photos, then we'll get in line for the 4000+ bike Parade of Power that begins at 4pm. Forecast is no rain and high temp of 76.

The Bradford / BRP display is at the Randal Tyson Track Center, about three miles southwest of Dickson St. Its on Razorback Rd, just south of Hwy 62 (aka Martin Luthor King Blvd).
This is also the area where you will find many vendors, the BBQ contest, and free bike demo rydes (including Spyder Roadsters).
See you there!
