Nicely done...I did the same on my RS putting the remote behind the dash with the button on the dash panel....Nice presentation and it is not all that hard to do....

Great idea and execution, but a big security risk if the Spyder is parked outside but close enough to activate the garage door. It does seem like it would work even if the power on the Spyder is off (or, am I missing something).

Awesome job and very clean execution. I did something similar on one of my previous bikes, but also ran power to the opener off of the battery on the bike. That way I never had to worry about a dead battery in the remote.

If that's a concern, you can still do this, just hide your switch somewhere. I hid my switch under the gas tank in my vtx.

Nice presentation! I've done the same, just a different button. I also added a connector so that if I have to strip that panel off, I don't have to unsecure the opener or mess with unscrewing terminals to do it.

Nice job. I do everything through the phone, home lights, security camera, garage door opener, gps. My phone goes where I go.
