replace wheel bearing?
How often do you replace? How do you know when you need to replace?
-
Depends...
If you don't do your own work you would have to see the signs. If dealer does your work they will let you know, one hopes. I always have a set on hand but have 42,000 miles and my third rear tire and the bearings are still good. Best time to check them is when you replace the tire.

Wheel is apart. Bearing in sprockets turn smooth but ones in wheel turn like they dry or have sand in them. Makes a grind noise when turning then kinda stops where as other bearing keeps turning. Is that normal? They not loose or anything they make grin

My rule of thumb is that I replace them every other rear tire change.
As I do my own work on my Spyder it only the cost of the bearings and that's worth the piece of mind I receive in return.
