    Default Future spyder

I found this artist's concept on line. Hey BRP, you paying attention? Give me this with twice the horsepower than the 998, and you've got a customer.

    Default Cool

That's a cool bike. Maybe they'll make one for the market one day. Probably around 2040 or 2050 that way all the 20 something year old kids around now will have a spyder to ride when they are 50 to 70 yrs old.

Take those stupid covers off the front and rear wheels and I'll be riding with you.

While I'm not too crazy about those front "spats", (looks like a good way to slice road kill though) I do like the central cockpit and tail. Sort of reminds me of a Tron bike. Plus, it'd be cool to be an anime character.

    Beautiful to behold...

Bigger engine... Some of us have been waiting since 2014.

Price point... For many of us, the "fun quotient" has already been reached. + 30K is tough for many. + 40K... not in my short lifetime.

Liking the new "trend" of entry level tourers in the mid 20K's.

    Time will tell.

Currently Owned: 2019 F3 Limited, 2020 F3 Limited: SOLD BOTH LIMITEDS in October of 2023.

    Previously : 2008 GS-SM5 (silver), 2009 RS-SE5 (red), 2010 RT-S Premier Editon #474 (black) 2011 RT A&C SE5 (magnesium) 2014 RTS-SE6 (yellow)

MY FINAL TALLY: 7 Spyders, 15 years, 205,500 miles

IT HAS BEEN A LONG, WONDERFUL, AND FUN RIDE.

I'm sorry, but the stability offered by the Can-Am wasn't the only thing that attracted us. It was the storage space as well. I can't help but look at this thing and think about how much space they're wasting behind the rider. No passenger? No saddlebags? No luggage space? Forget it. My wife and I have always used our motorcycles (and now the Can-Am) to run errands while out having fun. One time we hauled a 50 lb bag of rice on the luggage rack behind our Suzuki Boulevard C50 ... while the saddlebags were also bulging with Asian groceries. I'm not even saying what we've been carrying with our RT.

I've carried groceries, 40lbs of dog food, laptops, even a case of beer, on separate trips with our GS equipped with saddlebags. This concept isn't about using it as a pack mule, rather it's for back to basics sporty riding (hint GS/RS forum). For hauling ass, not goods!

Not sure how that would translate to an RT model, but it would be fascinating to see.
You live in Colorado, have you ever ridden up Pike's Peak or Mt. Evans? I see on You Tube that a number of motorcycles have, but rarely a Can Am Spyder. What would be the chance of having you post a motovlog on You Tube of an ascent of either?

I've done both on two wheels. When roads are twisty like that I tend to favor my sport bikes.
