Are there things that I regret?
Of course!
Would I change them?
Probably not.
For two reasons:
None of them are so horrible, that they need erasing.
And...
We are the sum total of our life experiences. The bad times often teach us the most important lessons. I would not want to become a different person, by not learning about defeat.

Oh so true. A accident when I was 13 , stupid mistake, changed my life completely. Yes I live with pain, but what I've learned to overcome, and learned about myself during this journey is something I wouldn't change for the unknown.
Who knows what I would have become, or if I'd be alive...
And what if I didn't like venison and smoked deviled eggs..

I am what I am today because of or in spite of my past and I am pretty happy with who/what I am. There is only one thing I have regrets about, there was a woman I loved that I would have tried harder to hang onto, but that too is part of who I am today.
I read this somewhere the other day and I tend to agree with it, "We don't really get smarter with age, we just start running out of stupid s**t to do."

They told me not to give up on my dreams, so I went back to sleep.
