What is "ATGATT"?
I'm usually pretty good at figuring out acronyms, but I'm stumped on this one: ATGATT. I've seen it referenced in numerous threads. Can someone help me out?
Thanks!

I have no idea who they are. Probably because I turned off my cable in 99' and still have a flip cell phone.

ATGATT means different things to different people.
To some it means body armor like they are prepping for war.
To others it means gloves and a full face helmet.
To me it means wearing my AMA, SNELL and DOT certified T-shirt, shorts and sneakers with a novelty half helmet.

"Laugh-In" was on TV in the late 60s. One of the funniest shows ever.
We should have an award on SL like the Flying Fickle Finger of Fate.

GFPO - Good For Parts Only. What some hospital emergency room staff call motorcycle crash victims who wear shorts, T-shirts, tennies, and novelty helmets as riding gear.

And we have a new record for the most posts before someone asked if you signed your organ donor card!!!!!!! Took 16 posts this time, but usually it takes a lot less time than that. Congrats to all on showing some restraint.

I like "Wear What You Want". It's all about risks and tradeoffs. If you want to be comfortable and have fun, wear a t-shirt and tennis shoes. If you want total protection but no comfort, wear body armor.

I am not sure if you have what we call sub-nets (or digi-nets) in Canada. These are usually digital sub-stations which tend to carry old classics, movies, shopping channels etc. The one carrying "Laugh-In" in my market is called "Decades". Chances are if you weren't a TV watcher in the late 60's you would not have heard of this show and are likely not to understand much of the humor as it was related to social mores and the political atmosphere at the time. I think it originally aired on NBC in the States.
