Just to clear this up:
the Special anniversary models are 2017 model year/design/configuration. A mid year release, a bit late. Like the 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang, a special release. Not an 2018 model. I know, as I asked at the unveiling. We heard rumors that the 2018 are different, so when they rolled these out with paint and wheels and medallions, we were "hang on, nothing special!"
That said, screams Smokey and the bandit, to me. Those wheels, powder coated another color would work fine!! Spyder Ann wants them Powdercoated in the color of brake dust..........

Bob, I like the color scheme - understated, classy and just enough sass with the wheels to make a statement. But frankly, I think the dark side is calling you and you're ready to go over. Your latest avatar confirms that! (I did like that flying pig though)

Black doesn't perk up my ears, although the gold is a great touch. Gimme a rich teal, turquoise or purple (or bring back the cognac!) and I'll definitely look twice. I'm too pragmatic to trade just for color, though.

The spyder looks good, black is not my favorite color especially for FL. Don't need to absorb any more heat. It's hot enough here all ready, besides, I just bought my '16 last June. Dale

you can put lipstick on anything - but ?
You can put lipstick on anything - but it is still what it was before you applied the lipstick.
If BRP Can Am has included definitive mechanical/electrical/electronic improvements to the new model, then and only then will it warrant my consideration.
If NOT
Well then it's just lipstick on an ol girl to make her feel better about herself.

Back to this issue:
Here's what BRP has on their website:
"ORDER BEFORE JULY 15, 2017 AND GET 4-YEAR COVERAGE
AND $500 IN PARTS, ACCESSORIES AND RIDING GEAR."
"10th Anniversary models are only available for sale until October 24, 2017.
So best hurry, a milestone anniversary like this doesn’t come around every year."
So if you're gonna shop: the clock is ticking!
