I spent all of yesterday at insurance seminars...

it's a good thing, when your clients don't kill themselves!

Was wondering where you were. Wonder how they compare to the accounting seminars that I used to have to go to when employed with the CPA firm. They called it continuing education. That brings back some scary memories.

I am one of the few that did not like the actual practice-including income tax stuff. Much more comfortable as a finance director and professor.

I call them "Continuing Edification", when I'm at them.
We have to complete 15 hours during each two-year licensing period.
One of our companies sponsors an 8 hour course for us each year, and the instructor that they've been using is actually good enough, to be a stand-up comedian!
He makes the time pass quickly!

The speaker does make a difference. Most of the ones we had would have made very good Anesthetists.
