Default first ride of the season

I took my spyder out of storage and went for my first ride of the season!!!

We just had snow a couple of days ago but TODAY there were blue bird skies.

The air temp max. out at 12 C.

The electric heated riding suit took care of the winds coming out of the north.

That spyder does wonders for man and his soul.

I usually ride all winter. Not much, but some. The last 2 winters haven't been all that cold here in southeastern Ohio.
When it gets to about 35 and sunny and the roads are dry, you'll see me out charging my battery.
Not just my RT-S battery, but mine, the one that drives me. If I go without a ride for over a few days,
I get antsy, twitchy. I need my "fix". The Spyder ride gives me my cure. I need that scenery flying by.
I need that air in my face. I am hooked, addicted. If I can complete a 50 mile ride, pull my RT-S in the garage
and see a bug splattered on my windshield, I want to kiss it. (But just wipe it off with a wash rag).

    Default Ahhhhh, 75* today !

Been riding the RT almost weekly since I got it in February, but today was the BEST ride yet !
Phenomenal 75* day here in Central Ohio. Rode for lunch, rode for fun, went back home and picked up the battery to drop into my old car tucked away in the storage unit and hauled it over in the Spyder. Started the old convertible (1979 Triumph Spitfire) and put about 20 miles on it, then took the Spyder out to meet the wife for lunch. Came home to charge the battery on my helmet (Sena headset), then I'll head out for a little bit more riding before the sun goes down.
    Too much fun !
