2015 F3s Windshield
New F3s and needing a winshield for sure. I'm going to be driving back and forth to work 50 miles one way so going to mayby pull the plug on the Madstad because of it's adjustability. It seams like no matter what the item is some people like it and some don't so a person comes away just as confused not knowing what to get. I'm 5'10" and thinking about getting the 18 inch light gray, your guidance would be appreciated and welcomed. Thanks. Craig & Lori

Boy you sure opened up a can of worm's.

Seems like no matter what people get they are generally happy with it except with the BRP Blue Ridge. For Those of us that have the Blue Ridge the X-Creen Tour add-on solves that problem. The company that sells the Madstad should be able to help you find out what size might be best for you

A can of worms is a good thing when your fishing.

Windshield
I am 5' 9'' and have 20". Sent back the 18". I can still see over the top.

I had the MADSTAD and I returned it. Great windshield for warmer weather because of its adjustability but way too small for the colder climates. They are well built and have excellent customer service. I bought and have rode with the F4 and LOVE it. Its big enough to ride on the coldest of days with almost no buffeting. My thoughts.

How does it look on your F3? I'm 5'10" how tall would you suggest. One of the problems i have is the F4's price tag. but i guess if i want full protection mayby i might have to save for this one.

18 or 20
I also am 5'10" I purchased the 18" and found it to short At hi-way speeds. Consider asking for a couple in.of extra width also .

I'm 5'11 and I sit on an Airhawk+rubber cushion. I look way over my winshield in its most upright position without any head buffeting. Its a drop dead gorgeous astetically pleasing clear windshield. It installs in about 15 minutes. The F4 gets a two thumbs up from me. The MADSTAD takes two hours to install (not really an issue) and is VERY small for the colder climates but they have EXCELLENT customer service. My thoughts.
Update....if you are 5'10" you should be PERFECT for the F4. Look at my profile pic, it has the F4 on it.

windshield
As I said I have the 20" but I did have them extend the width 1" on both sides. It took me about 30 minutes to install. It was fun!

I'm 5.9 and I just put the MadStad 20" light gray on mine. I had to raise it up after one ride. My wife ride today finally and we both agree that we think this will work out just fine.

You can ask them to make it wider. I had mine 2" wider on each side. I like it.

They did not offer that when I purchased my shield, depending on which F3 you have. Regardless, it did not cover anywhere near the F4. I had/have both..... I know.

The BR with the Xceen does it fine for me and I can see the road 30 feet down the road over it. I came to like the looks and it was even fine in 40 degree weather with heated glove liners.

F4 28" here and it works great up until 65 mph. After that you'll need something like an MRA-x screen you can attach on the top to get rid of head buffeting.
