    Default Parking Brake

    Have a 2012 RT, Just fired it up after sitting all winter and can not get the electronic parking brake to release when pushing the brake switch, anyone have any ideas? Thanks

    No codes? ,can you here anything trying to move ? Fyi the pub rake is controlled by a motor & cable under the center R panel on most when sitting on bike. Usually can hear the motor operate. Other than that you could remove battery give the system time to reset, maybe.
    dont forget to check the fluid

    i stop use mind got stuck too keep push down on it might release

    May be some corrosion in the switch. Also check the front pulley under the right panel. The cable may have come loose.

    No codes, and when pushing on the switch no usual noise like I would hear before, took switch out, disconnected and re plugged it back in thought maybe corrosion over the winter, but that wasn't it, thinking maybe loosen the nut by the rear wheel and see if the cable might be tight.

    2 things to check wiring plug is off switch ,check to see if windshield goes up and down ,both of these are on same module

    Have you put the Spyder in neutral and tried to roll it?
    If it rolls but the indicator shows it is "ON", your brake fluid is low.
    Otherwise - what others have said.
