MAGIC MIRRORS
hi all
this is my first post on sponsors board
i have updated the website so no need to repeat it here
suffice to say i am still waiting for bulk magnet suppliers(2) to inform me that product has been posted(to me)..i have been waiting a month now
once i receive said magnets i will then be able to reorder(i cant re-order til i know they are correct),then continue supply on a fortnightly basis
as soon as they land i can complete the sets and start posting(mid march?)
meanwhile i have done a couple of "how to" videos on you tube https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvlj8fD5dfb3fg6cWbujjLw
or there is a link on website www.magicmirrors.shop
price rise on 1st of march due to handling costs(i had to take on an extra hand to help with packaging) but have tried to keep costs down
they still dont cost as much as one front tyre
thanks for your patience
russ

i have watched all the latest videos the only thing I'm not sure about is how we would remove the existing pins from the body work to replace them with the Stainless Steel bolt with washers and magnets
Do the unscrew them as they don't appear to have a screw head on them, but I noticed there is a nut at the end of the pins close to the bodywork do you just use a wrench / spanner to remove them
I like the videos especially with the comments you make and the odd mistake they do cheer me up
Looking forward to getting my set next month

I am one of those faint of heart...
...when it comes to DIY installs. I like to tackle installs but I sure like pictures, diagrams, videos, and you folks standing by when I start. I am not a handyman but I can do stuff given directions. So, any detailed videos are appreciated.

Way to go.....
Thanks for the updates on your production and supply schedule. Make for a good sponsor to keep folks informed. You will do well cause it is a great solution the a nagging problem with the design flaw perhaps....you will be busy....

mike is right
pins are so simple to remove....ill show in the next video( couple of weeks,I have to go back to work) 13 mm spanner is what you need....you will get an "R.I.P." Bag in the kit..put all your original pins and petals in the bag and when you upgrade the bike you'll have everything together to reverse the install
the only "must do" with the install is to remove the top Tupperware washer first
if you don't then the top magnet will sit on the washer and it won't sit flat
i will send instruction with the kit so will make it easy
there are enough people on this forum who will have installed prior to your fitment so if there is anything the video doesn't explain I'm sure a forum member will chime in with an answer

Hi,
Would you know if they would fit / be suitable for a Spyder ST ? Would anybody know if it is the same pins for the RT and ST.?
May be BillyBovine, or Bluenight911 ?
Thanks in advance, and K.U.T.G.W. !!! :-)

No ..... they won't work with ST mirrors, because they mount in a different manner. I already checked this ....... Mike

The McGrath foundation has a special place in Aussie's hearts, Mike. He is a very much loved and admired Aussie cricketer who tragically lost his wife to breast cancer at a very young age and has since worked tirelessly and very successfully to raise the profile of breast cancer. I'm sure if Russ was a multinational organisation making a million dollars he would include other research organisations, but I can't imagine that he has been able to afford his first luxury yacht yet .....maybe by next week.
