    Default Cell phone interface cable

I was looking to use this cable to connect a phone or audio player to the 3.5 mm plug to play music thru. Does the audio connector work without the Communication package and entertainment harness?

Do you have a 3.5mm audio connection outlet on your Spyder? I would be interested in seeing this.

Default it is on the cellphone cable

It is part of the cellphone connection cable. On my 2012 RTS i had the CB, XM and communication package and was able to remove the GPS hook up and connect a phone to the 3.5 MM connector on the cable. I am waiting on my new 2016 RTS SS and it does not come with the extras but wanted to try and replicate what I had.

You have to have the ENT harness and CB at a minimum.
