Thanks for the pictures. I found an RT muffler on eBay should have it next week.

    Default bracket???

When you folk who are doing the RT muffler on the F3-S swap can do so, please post pics and/or describe what's necessary bracket-wise to accomplishg this in a durable, sanitary fashion.

Is there a reason for this??? If it is for aesthetics, I find the F3 muffler a lot nicer looking.

    Default reason?

Others may differ, but I find the shortness of the stock muffler on the F3-S to contribute to:

    1. more perceived noise from the passenger's seat
    2. more noise in general than my RT was
    3. perhaps a little more heat on the passenger's leg

    YMMV

My wife is having hearing issues. The current set up is Lamont's pipe with BCT baffle and OEM muffler. She loves the exhaust note, but due to her hearing loss putting the RT muffler will help and she will still have a nice exhaust note just not as loud.

My reason was noise and to move muffler back from under bags!

Installed the RT muffler on my wife's F3S today, thank you ABQ Spyder for the pictures.
I did a slight modification from your pictures to raise the muffler up a bit. This mod is pretty simple, 1/2 pipe, 1/8 x 3/4 flat bar, 3/8" drill bit and drill and tap for 3/8 bolt.
