    According to BRP: every 14,000 miles.
    (At least I think that's the current interval that they suggest.)

    RE: Valve adjustments. On 1330's, there are no valve adjustments required.

    On 990's here is what I found. Owned two. Did required first adjustment at 10K (before they moved it to 14K). No adjustments required. Cost $800 plus.

    I let the second one go to 28,000 miles. Cost $800 plus. No adjustments required. They screwed the job up. Did not add a new valve gasket. They had to fix that one on their dime.

    I am not intending on doing a valve adjustment on our 2011 until 50K plus. It will depend on how I feel at the time.

    Most feel just like me. If you choose to do a valve adjustment--it's your money. Most feel the valve adjustment is overkill and the cost is surely through the roof.

    That is good to know. The M109's that I owned required the same thing, but most never got them done and they were fine.

    Default High Mile RT

    I see there are a few that have a passion for mile piling. It's all I do.
    Can we share some tips, as in tires, brakes? Stock Kenda's are a joke,
    I put on a pair of Kumho Solas KH16 on the front on Cinco De Mayo and
    have ridden 43,844 as of today, getting thin, may last the year.
    The rear, the same tire lasted 20,143 before replaced with a General
    Altimax. Starting to show some wear at 14,000 but will last maybe 12, 000
    more. Should say the front tires are 155-60-15, rear 215-60-15. OEM tires
    front and back are a "50" series, the 60 is slightly taller and will slow the RPM's
    down some, engine used to spin at 3100 at 60 mph, now spins at 3000 @ 60.
    I usually get over 40 mpg, very acceptable.
    I'm rather a large fellow, 6'3" and 290 but love this Spyder!
    Anybody have anything to ask? I'm no know it all, but know what I know. Most
    of the stuff I do know I get from this forum.

    Chuck.

    I bought a 2014 RTS cognac
    in September of 2014 and I have 8200 miles on it....
    We love it and it had no problems with it how often have you had to change the tires and have you had a tune-up?
