    Just finished reading that, lucky even considering all his injuries. Felt bad for his riding companion.

    That guy was lucky someone heard him and amazingly he will make a full recovery! Sorry about his friend!

    Mentioned then...always good to let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be back...truely sad about the friend..'s When I travel I have the Followmee app on so the family can follow me and know where a I am....

    I read another story about another recent accident on the Dragon. The medical folks rescuing the rider in the wooded slope discovered another biker's body along with his smashed-up bike. Evidently, the body had been there for several months. Nobody knew he was there.

    This ties into Chupaca's comment about letting someone know where you're going and when to expect you back.
