Smart Car wheels on Spyder?
I was curious if anyone knows whether or not Smart Car wheels will fit on the Spyder?
I don't know what the bolt pattern is for the Spyder but the Smart Car is 3X112 I believe.
Smart Car OEM wheels aren't that great however, there is a huge amount of aftermarket wheels in 15",16",17".

I happen to know of one Spyder owner who also owns a smart car. Maybe they can check it out for you. **cough cough magic man cough cough**

I'm in the process of buying one, I had wondered myself being they are 3 lug wheel. The dealer I'm dealing with has several customizied Smart cars with many different wheels. would you beleive this thing is shorter than my Boss Hoss Trike, and only about 3 inches wider.

Yes very tiny. We were going to do a smart car rally in Germany years ago because you can rent them cheap. We found out they were very slow and uninspiring to race and scrapped the tour. Of course, racing is def not thier intended purpose.
They have a huge following in Europe so there is a massive aftermarket. This is just one site I found in England:

There are plenty of places in the states to get them in the states too.

so i took a pic of spyder wheel super imposed a smartcar wheel over it and knocked the opacity down on the smartcar wheel to 50% the red dots are where spyder lug nuts are the pic might be a tad off but it looks like the pattern it the same the only thing would be the offset of the wheel and that i cant see on computer and also providing that the car wheel is the same size around

nothing ...no comment????

The bolt pattern for the Spyder is different than that of the Smart car and the offset is different. We researched this last year. So to answer your question, it will not work
