Great video! I love what people are doing with drones.
I had a drone fall from the sky into my yard about a month ago. No one ever showed up to claim it. I read that this model does not have a fail-safe and if it flew out of range of the controller, it would just keep going. The owner can't be happy, it's a $400 machine. I found a controller and charger online to buy but I have yet to go down that road and try to fire it up.

Here's a funny thing that happened during the route, As I was leading the ride, at the turn into the park
I had stopped to block traffic at that intersection and as a few cars backed up, a fellow walked down to me from the first car and yelling at me and telling me I was so rude to do this. I calmly said that this was a police escorted ride and that he could go down to the corner and tell the sheriff that if he would like. Then I pointed down to him, needless to say he walked back to his car. I think we had all 180+ bikes in there in 5 minutes, some people?

Is there an FAA or AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) number anywhere? I'm sure the owner would like to get it back; once a multi-rotor flies away, there is no way of knowing which way it went and how far, so he (or she) probably looked and looked for it with almost zero chance of finding it. If you wouldn't mind PM'ing me a picture, along with roughly when and where you found it, I can put the word out to my RC buddies. Of course, if you want to learn to fly it yourself, you should find a local pilot to help you out.

Thank You. Nicely done.
Believe it or not, I can even spot my Spyder.
At 29 seconds, there is a bike pulling into the line. That's me immediately behind the Spyder pulling in.
The lady in front of me forgot something after we lined up and left to go get it.
That was her pulling back in the line, with my bike in line immediately behind her.
If it ain't broke, don't break it.

The motor was still on when it landed in my yard. My wife printed out our phone number in large letters and directed the camera to it as well as our home address but the original owner must not have been using an IPad to control and view. We looked for serial numbers from registering with the FAA but found none.

I'm on it from 40-42 leading the inside line with Dave O'neil to my left, also from 2:00-2:18. You can even see the guy walk up to me blocking. Click on view on you tube go full screen and it is much more clear.
