    She has been released from the hospital and waiting for a cab to take her home. She said she is fine. She said thanks for the good wishes.

    Spyders can be rebuilt or replaced. Good to hear that you are on the mend.

    Just sayin'............
    Three in the garage, and I think I can fit at least one more in.....and then we will have to build another garage.
    The roads in NY are so bad that I am glad we bought a Ryker Rally

    Thank you all very much! I'm fine, really, although I'm sure I'll be sore tomorrow. On my way home now. You know, the funny thing is, I can't find a mark on my helmet or jacket. Must not have been going too fast when I hit.

    prayers for for a speedy recovery..
    According to the AMA American motorcyclists Assoc. most motorcycle
    related accidents are caused by someone turning left in front of the
    oncoming motorcycle, check with your insurance co. they will agree.
    WATCH OUT FOR THE BLIND LEFT TURNING VEHICLES.
    They always seem to say I didn't see the bike.....

    Make that most motorcycle accidents involving another vehicle are caused by left turning vehicles. Most motorcycle accidents, about 80%, are single m/c accidents caused by rider error.

    I agree completely. Most of the 80% have a brain writing checks that their abilities can't cash. Just like the recent video on this site of the Guy riding the Dragon that crashed into the Corvette.

    Of course we have done it ourselves and survived and learned a lesson. (I hope)
