License Plate on F3
Might be a dumb question but what kind of screws do you need to put your tag on a 2015 F3?

Ok, I'll start it off. I dunno, dealer did mine, but my guess is the screws were metal.

I will add....
If the holes are through and through get some stainless nut (nyloc type) and bolts. I would think 8mm x 1". If not you will have to find the right ones. I have never seen the F3 plate mountings...

This is definitely a dealer question. They should be readily available and willing to provide them for you.

If you go to any motorcycle shop you can pick up some for a few $$$.

There is no way to put something with a nut on it. You cant get behind the place where you put it. It will have to be some kind of self taping screw or something.

You have to lay down and put your arm and hand under the flap to install these, mine is the reflector type with a wing nut and I have the F3T good luck

My dealer used double sided adhesive pads.....very permanent.

Of course you can. It's a tight fit but you just reach between the fender and tire with the nut in hand and screw it on the bolt you've just pushed through.
You'll need a socket on both sides to snug it up. That's what I did, anyway.

I think the screws are a #4 self tapping with hex head. There is no way to get behind the plate as the section that holds the license plate is screwed to the fender from the rear. You could use a bigger screw #6 self tapping as it will make the threads in the plastic.

If the plate does not line up with the factory mounting holes you have to use self tapping sheet metal screws. My plate doesn't line up. Dealer put in cheap screws that didn't hold. I have an assortment of screws on hand so I was able to fix mine.
